Nokia, India’s biggest mobile handset brand, announced the launch of its affordable dual SIM music phone, Nokia 101.The phone is Nokia’s fifth dual SIM phone launched in the last few months in the most affordable category.Also at the same time Nokia has also announced the launch of Nokia 100, a single SIM variant in the same price category. According to the company, these latest offering are targeted towards the frist time users, who are price conscious and seek simplicity in their mobile phone. With its dual SIM capability, Nokia 101 has an integrated MP3 player, FM radio, loudspeaker and expandable memory up to 16 GB. Apart from basic features both the phone also offer Nokia Life Tools and Nokia Money in India, providing instant access to locally-relevant information on healthcare, education, agriculture and entertainment. The Nokia 101 is priced at Rs 1,699 whereas Nokia 100 at Rs 1,399 and both phones are expected to hit the Indian market in the month of October this year.

The X7 is unusually shaped. Nokia has given
it a slightly hexagonal touch by bending the corners inwards.Surprisingly for a
high-end 3G device,there is no front-facing camera, so video calls are out. The
phone back is dominated by a metal plate on which is the 8.0 MP camera and
dual LED flash.The camera can record HD video but no auto-focus makes it
pretty much useless when it comes to close up shots.Anna is a huge
improvement over Symbian S60 ( 5th edition ) but still lacks the fluidity, apps and
social netwark intergration of an Android or iOS. The 640 X 360 resolution , while
very good for Symbian,is not really up there with those seen on high-end Andriod
and iSO devices.Round that off with a price tag of Rs 21,000 and the X7 starts
seeming a tag expensive.
